Glenn Cockrell of Antique Properties, VA just told me “Terry I had a call from a gentleman in Richmond who had looked at property with me a couple of months ago but chose to wait.  He called me back in almost a panic state with all the crazy bad news that had been happening in the financial markets last week.  After listening to him moan and groan, I told him that he was about to derail and lose the opportunity of making a strong business decision based on the emotions of fear and panic.   I encouraged him to come and spend a day with me up here at the Chesapeake Bay area and reassess his risk reward opportunities.  He did that and after looking at the uniqueness of our area and seeing that site that he almost bought a couple of months ago, he said “Glenn, I think you’re right.  I am going to buy this $450,000 site with what I have left over in my stock fund and hold onto it for at least three years until this thing settles down”.
